Get Ready for JM's Annual Spring Carnival
On Saturday, May 30th from 11-2:00 pm bring your family, friends and neighbors to the JM Spring Carnival and enjoy the Super Slide, Cake Walk, 5th Grade Sponge Toss, and other SUPER fun carnival games. We'll have Music by JM's own DJTJ and fabulous food provided by the JM Dad's Club.
Please sign up outside the office to Volunteer for a shift, we need your help to make this event possible. The Spring Carnival Committee is also looking for a replacement committee to run this event next year. It is an easy and fun even to run, so gather some friends and take over.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN SCREENING: In our bid to ensure that we have completely heterogeneous classes, which are balanced in gender, ethnicity, skills and personalities, all incoming kindergarten students will be given a pre-kindergarten assessment. Some of the skills that will be assessed include uppercase alphabet recognition, colors, counting, work habits, ability to tell their first and last names, birthday and so forth. We want to get a sense of who your child is, as well as their work habits. The assessment is conducted in a relaxed one-on-one setting with our kindergarten teachers. If you have an in-coming kindergartener, and have not signed up for a testing slot yet, stop by the school office to do so. Please contact me if you have questions.
